Officer Meeting October 2022

Meeting was called to session at 6:15PM on Sunday, October 9, 2022

Gary, Lana, Becky, Auden, Pat, Tim, and Jean were present. The next Officer's meeting will be at Pat's house on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 6:00 pm.

Next member meeting will be Monday, October 10, 2022: Members present will set up the calendar for the upcoming year. The group will refer to a prepared list of possible meeting topics or activities. The members present may also suggest further topics or activities. Chairs will be arranged in a circle to facilitate discussion.

Issues with the calendar in our last newsletter were discussed, as it was difficult to read. Several Officers volunteered to work on the problem.

Flyers and business cards for the FVSG need to be edited to reflect our meeting location in Oshkosh at James P Coughlin Center, 625 E County Rd. Y #600, Oshkosh, WI 54903. The group email needs to be edited as foxvalleyspinningguild@gmail.com. Saturday Socials will be removed. The officers will each check the group gmail account and offer suggestions for any changes.

Officers will also review the bylaws and offer suggestions for revision. They will also check to be sure that bylaws and procedures align.

The Heifer project will be discussed with ideas for specific animals or items to be donated at a later date.

Typos and errors in email to several members were discussed and corrected.

The board discussed a "difficult topic", being certain that everyone was in agreement as to how to move forward in a positive way. Policies and procedures were discussed and tabled for a later date.
